Configure the AI

The AI comes with its own page to configure some of the basic settings. It is also possible to easily make changes to individual pages without any HTML programming skills. This is covered in additional pages.

Using the AI Settings Page

This option is found on the Utilities menu on the right.

It comprises of six panels as shown (One of which shows the available shades of the selected theme):

The AI Settings page

Page Geometry

This panel allows you to control the position of the page banner and footer in that they can be fixed to the top and bottom of the screen respectively, or allowed to scroll with the page. (On small screens the footer always scrolls).

You can also modify the gaps between to page content and the banner/footer. These gaps can be measured in pixels1) or font size / page height2)

Theme

The AI comes with a number of built in colour themes that can be selected using the second panel. The theme will immediately be applied to the AI Settings page ONLY so that you can see its effect. Note I accept that some themes are not necessarily good but it's up to you to choose.

Themes come in pairs - normal or dark. The image shows Dark Lilac. If you want to use a particular theme you must use the 'Use Configuration' button in the panel below. Note that this applies all changes from any of the panels.

The Seagull

This third panel configures the seagull animation at the bottom of the page. There are three animations available or they can be turned off by setting the Animation speed to 0.

On narrower screens the seagull might interfere with page content so this panel also offers the option to force the seagull below other elements - just uncheck the 'Stay on top of all elements' box.

Alarm LEDs

The Alarms panel enables you have different LEDs for the Standard and/or Custom Alarms on the dashboard. There are seven options available - Brick (default), Lozenge, Oval, Round, Small Square and Small Round. Small LEDs will align to the left of the space allocated to all LEDs.

1)
In which case they are constantly across all devices.
2)
In which case they adjust to the size of the device.
