Table of Contents
The Settings Menu
This menu provides access to all the same options as in the Default Interface. However, in the AI the dropdown is arranged in three columns1) as shown below. As they are primarily to do with configuring CumulusMX, except for those identified below, they work in exactly the same way as on the Default Interface. The only difference is in the way they are displayed.
Unlike the default interface, the page backgrounds are the same colour as other pages.
Differences
Third Party Settings
In the Default Interface this is called Third Party Uploads but is essentially the same. It is where you configure CumulusMX to upload data to other global weather depositories such as: Weather Underground, Windy.com, PWS Weather, Met Office WOW, APRS/CWOP, AWEKAS, WeatherCloud, OpenWeatherMap, Windguru, Bluesky and Custom HTTP.
Extra Web Files
This page is essentially the same as on the Default Interface except that the final column - Incremental is a different colour as it only applies to those who use php to upload data to their wwebsite.
HTTP download
Called HTTP File Settings on the default Interface. This is the only difference between the pages.
MYSQL Settings
The only difference is the layout of the Create database and Update Database options which are in two columns2)
Alarm Settings
In the AI, the page does not break out of the site page width. Instead the table scrolls sideways to reveal the extra columns. Each row highlights on hover. I have also split the Alarm and Email settings into separate panels.2)
User Defined Alarms
Again, as for the above page, the layout does not break out of the site page width, instead the table scrolls sideways. The notes occupy their own panel which in turn has a two column layout. Although the panels can be arranged, the columns cannot.
